Catsis Keçe Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is a project-based manufacturing company providing technical material processing and component manufacturing for OEM and Tier 1 customers in the automotive industry.

Within the scope of Catsis’ Toyota Türkiye reference, nylon material used for felt and water-retention applications is supplied according to the requirements of the relevant customer project. Material specifications and application requirements are determined in accordance with the applicable technical requirements.

Within Toyota Türkiye projects, Catsis supplies nylon material used for felt and water-retention applications.

For these types of technical materials, properties, dimensions, application areas and usage requirements are evaluated according to the technical specifications defined by the customer.

Catsis’ manufacturing approach includes material processing and component supply in accordance with the technical requirements of automotive OEM projects.

Automotive Interior Trim and Technical Felt Applications

Different types of technical felt, nonwoven and carpet components are used in automotive interior trim applications.

Depending on the application, these materials can be used in vehicle interiors for areas such as the floor, luggage compartment, side trim, roof, doors and other interior trim locations.

Automotive carpets and felt-based components may be used in applications including:

These applications represent common technical material groups within the automotive industry and do not mean that all of the applications listed above are supplied to Toyota under the Catsis Toyota reference.

Materials used for water-retention applications in automotive vehicles may be applied in specific vehicle areas to manage water or protect relevant sections, depending on the application.

Within the Toyota Türkiye reference, the nylon material supplied by Catsis is used for a customer-defined water-retention application.

The material specifications and method of application are determined according to the requirements of the relevant customer project.

Technical Felt and Automotive Carpets

Technical felt and automotive carpets are important material groups used in vehicle interior trim systems.

Automotive carpets may be used for floor carpets, luggage compartment carpets and various interior trim components, while technical felt components can be used for different insulation, support, lining and application requirements within the vehicle.

Depending on the project requirements, Catsis processes technical felt and nonwoven materials through cutting, shaping, lamination and other suitable manufacturing processes to produce technical components.
